We were outside playing in the grass the other day, and I couldn't help but laugh at this sight. Padfoot looking so big and comfortable in the foreground. The doghouse looking so small and lonely in the background.
When we lived in Haines Junction, Aubrey built Padfoot a deluxe doghouse. Since then it has gone through several renovations. And now it sits, uninhabitated.
If Padfoot is outside during the day he's either asleep in the yard or wandering through the woods. But most of the time he is comfortable sleeping in his spot on the landing. Never, ever in his doghouse. And he always sleeps inside at night, usually somewhere between our bed and Ethan's crib.
But it still looks cute, right? Especially that paw shaped window.
