My boy is helping build the deck. We took him for a bath today, doesn't he look shiny? He smells much better too but I realize you can't see that from the picture.

The news is out that we are expecting, so now I am going to feel free to post pictures of my growing self! With hope that I might get my cutie sister to do the same. I am way past being able to hide the fact that I am pregnant from anyone in Whitehorse. This week I told a woman I work with that I was expecting and she replied "yes, I can see that!". lol I guess my little body has changed already.
We have a big weekend planned of deck building, bathroom painting and yard saling. However I am sick with the flu so it may be more of Aubrey doing some of those things and me watching movies and napping on the grass. We'll see!

When we were in Skagway on the Victoria Day weekend in May, we did a beautiful hike one afternoon. We were amazed that there were so many people in town, but so few people on the trails. When I was searching through these pictures I had to laugh at the things they reveal about us. This one is one of the first view points along the trail. The town of Skagway and the Taiya Inlet. Even though I take 99% of our pictures, Aubrey took this one. I found a little path off the main trail and decided to see where it went. Well, it went to a view point that was far to steep and scary for me! Of course, when Aubrey heard this he ran off the trail to get a better look, and a photo. He loves heights. Me, not so much.
Since I take 99% of the pictures, we have a lot of pictures of Aubrey. I love this one of him studying the map when couldn't figure out which way we were supposed to go.
There was still quite a bit of snow on the trail. Of course, Padfoot was so happy to see the snow. Give that dog snow and you've never seen anyone happier. At one point he walked on a little pond that had ice and went through. It was very shallow and but I was worried until he gave a great sigh and layed down in the half frozen water. We were laughing too hard to take pictures of him..
It is pretty hard to find a picture of me without Padfoot. I hate getting my picture taken so I almost always call Padfoot over to sit by me. But I love to see how big his head is compared to mine, so I don't care.
The only time I have pictures without Padfoot is if I am somewhere scary! I am terrified of heights, but I will not let that stop me from getting a cool picture. This was a rickety bridge over this water pipe, with the waterfall behind. I didn't have the nerve to take a picture of the waterfall, but I would let Aubrey take one of me. I was so scared!
Yesterday we went for a 25 km bike ride - as long as my leg in the relay next weekend. I felt good and could have kept on going. I'm not going to finish with a great time, but right now I'm just happy that I will be able to finish.

Yesterday Jim, Geoff and Aubrey went fishing on Pine Lake with Lee and Dan. This was while Joyce and I were floating along the Dezedeash. We all enjoyed the fish for dinner. Aubrey, Dan and Harley (the dog) on Pine Lake with Kluane National Park in the background.
Geoff caught his very first fish, with a little help from Dan and Harley.
Jim caught this pike, and a trout too. Jim is always happy, but he was especially happy yesterday.
The boys, back at the truck.
BBQ at the Drummond house.
Lee and Tiffany.
Me and Aubrey at the end of a happy, relaxing day.
Joyce and Jim left this morning. We were all very, very sad. But I have a funny feeling that they will make their way back to the Yukon again. Especially after the day we had yesterday.
